Transformative Vinyasa Flow – Connecting with the Flow of Prana
Harnessing the power of the five movements of prana, which underlies all creation, we will build from the base of our being to the height of movement. Through the use of multi-dimensional sequences, including fluid namaskars, energetic asanas, backbends, arm balances, hip openers, and meditative pranayama, connect with the transformative experience of yoga.
Open to all students and teachers
Sunday, April 6, 2008, 9am – 11:30am
Heart Journey – Opening to the grace of backbends through Anahata Chakra
Shining like a jewel in the center of the chest is the brilliance of Anahata, the heart chakra. The heart is where the union of masculine and feminine connects to open to our true Self. Utilizing twists, arcs and wave-like motion to create suppleness in the spine, we will open the heart chakra to new depths as we transcend into graceful backbends.
Open to all students and teachers
