Follow your Path - Deepen your Practice - Ignite Change in your Life
Immerse yourself in the process of learning to teach vinyasa flow yoga with Daphne and Tom Larkin - two of Shiva Rea's longtime teaching assistants - and an experienced staff of guest faculty. Whether you're considering taking that first step into teaching or looking to deepen your practice, this program is designed for you. The journey begins with the first inhale and takes you on a path which continues for the rest of your life. We recognize the path of learning to teach is a lifelong process and taking the first step can be overwhelming. The Sanctuary for Yoga Teacher Training Program is designed to set a solid foundation that is rooted in the study of fundamental teaching skills, integrated alignment, philosophy, and dives into the great river of yoga introducing Shiva Rea's unique style of prana flow. Bringing together years of experience in several lineages of yoga, the diverse faculty comes together to offer their own perspective on the practice of yoga on and off the mat. We know how busy life can be. Our program is designed to allow students to spend concentrated weekends and immersions to deepen their understanding of the process of teaching and allow ample time to cultivate new skills and integrate the teachings into their practice. This 200-hour program is completed over the course of 6 months. Completion of the full program is intended to satisfy the requirements for Yoga Alliance certification at the 200-hour level. The modules are open to students who wish to deepen their practice, to those who want to learn to teach yoga, and to teachers who are looking to expand their knowledge and satisfy continuing education requirements. Teachers who have already registered with Yoga Alliance will receive qualified hours toward continuing education. We are unified on the path of yoga. Our own journey is unique, but it is the connection to each other that sustains us. Discover your voice. Open your heart. Take the first step toward teaching in a nurturing community. |
